1. Introduction

    1.1 These Terms and Conditions (“Terms”) govern your use of the Eco Maid Services platform (“Platform”) for booking cleaning services (“Services”). By accessing or using the Platform, you agree to abide by these Terms. If you do not agree with any part of these Terms, please do not use our Platform.

  2. Account Registration

    2.1 You must create an account to use our Platform. You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account information and ensuring that the information provided is accurate.

  4. User Eligibility: You must be at least 18 years old to use the platform. By using the platform, you represent and warrant that you are at least 18 years of age and have the legal capacity to enter into these terms and conditions.

  5. Description of Service: Eco Maid services provides an online platform that connects individuals seeking cleaning services (“Clients”) with independent cleaning professionals (“Cleaners”). The platform facilitates communication and transactions between Clients and Cleaners but does not directly provide cleaning services.

  6. Booking Services

    3.1 Eco Maid Services acts as a marketplace connecting users with cleaning professionals. When you book a cleaning service, you enter into a direct agreement with the cleaning professional. Eco Maid Services is not responsible for the quality of service provided by the cleaning professionals.

    3.2 You may specify your cleaning requirements when booking a service. The cleaning professional is responsible for completing the tasks as described in your booking.

    1. User Accounts: In order to access certain features of the platform, you may be required to create an account. You agree to provide accurate, current, and complete information during the registration process and to update such information to keep it accurate, current, and complete.

    2. 6.1 Client-Cleaner Relationships: Eco Maid services does not employ Cleaners and is not responsible for the conduct, actions, or performance of Cleaners. Clients are responsible for selecting Cleaners, scheduling appointments, and providing necessary cleaning supplies and equipment.

  7. Payment and Pricing

    4.1 You agree to pay for the Services as described on the Platform. Pricing may vary based on the type of service, location, and other factors. Payment is due at the time of booking.

    4.2 Eco Maid Services uses secure third-party payment processors for transactions. We do not store or have access to your payment information.

  8. Cancellations and Rescheduling

    5.1 You may cancel or reschedule a booking according to the policies specified on the Platform. Cancellation or rescheduling fees may apply, and these will be communicated to you at the time of booking.

  9. Quality Assurance

    6.1 We encourage users to provide feedback on the quality of the cleaning services. Eco Maid Services strives to maintain a high standard of service, and we will take action if a cleaning professional consistently receives negative feedback.

  10. Insurance

    7.1 Cleaning professionals on the Platform are required to have liability insurance. Eco Maid Services is not responsible for any damages caused by the cleaning professionals during the service. Please report any issues to us, and we will work to address them.

  11. Privacy Policy

    8.1 We collect and process personal information as described in our Privacy Policy. By using the Platform, you consent to our data practices.

  12. Termination

    9.1 Eco Maid Services reserves the right to terminate or suspend your account for any violation of these Terms or any activity that may harm our Platform, other users, or our reputation.

  13. Limitation of Liability

    10.1 Eco Maid Services shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits or revenues, whether incurred directly or indirectly.

  14. User Conduct: You agree not to use the platform for any unlawful or prohibited purposes. You are solely responsible for your conduct and any data, text, information, usernames, graphics, images, photos, profiles, audio, video, and links (“Content”) that you submit, post, and display on the platform.

  15. Governing Law

    11.1 These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of UK.

  16. Changes to Terms

    12.1 Eco Maid Services may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify users of any significant changes, but it is your responsibility to review the Terms periodically.

    1. Modification of Terms: Eco Maid services reserves the right to modify or replace these terms and conditions at any time. It is your responsibility to check these terms periodically for changes. Your continued use of the platform following the posting of any changes constitutes acceptance of those changes

    2. 19. Termination: Eco Maid services may terminate or suspend your access to the platform at any time, with or without cause, and without prior notice or liability. Upon termination, your right to use the platform will immediately cease.

      1. 20. Cancellation Fee: Clients will be subject to a cancellation fee if they cancel a booking within 24 hours of the scheduled appointment time. The cancellation fee will be a percentage of the total service fee, as outlined below:

      2. Cancellation within 24 hours: 100% of the total service fee.

      3. 21. Purpose of Cancellation Fee: The purpose of the cancellation fee is to compensate cleaners for their time and potential loss of income due to the cancelled booking. By charging a cancellation fee, we aim to discourage last-minute cancellations and ensure that cleaners are fairly compensated for their availability.

      4. 22. Automatic Charge: The cancellation fee will be automatically charged to the client’s payment method on file following the cancellation of a booking within 24 hours of the scheduled appointment time. Clients will be notified of the cancellation fee and the amount charged via email or through the platform.

      6. 23. Exceptions: Eco Maid services understands that there may be extenuating circumstances that warrant exceptions to the cancellation policy. Clients may request a waiver of the cancellation fee by contacting customer support and providing valid documentation or evidence supporting their reason for cancellation.

      7. 24. Dispute Resolution: In the event of any disputes regarding the cancellation fee or the application of the cancellation policy, clients may contact customer support for assistance. Eco Maid services will review the circumstances of the cancellation and may provide a refund or credit at its discretion.

      8. 25. Policy Acceptance: By booking a cleaning service through Eco Maid services, clients acknowledge and agree to abide by the cancellation policy outlined herein. Clients are encouraged to review the cancellation policy before making a booking and to contact customer support with any questions or concerns.

      9. 26. Modification of Policy: Eco Maid Services reserves the right to modify or update the cancellation policy at any time, without prior notice. Any changes to the cancellation policy will be effective immediately upon posting on the platform. Clients are responsible for reviewing the cancellation policy periodically for updates.

      1. 27. Independent Contractor Status: You acknowledge and agree that you are an independent contractor and not an employee, partner, agent, or joint venture of Eco Maid services. You have full control over the manner and means by which you perform cleaning services for Clients.

      2. 28. Service Provision: You have the discretion to accept or decline cleaning requests from Clients based on your availability and preferences. By accepting a cleaning request, you agree to perform the requested services to the best of your abilities and in accordance with any specifications provided by the Client.

      3. 29. Payment Terms: As a provider you will receive payment weekly, after a clean or service provision. Eco maid services will retain a 10% commission from our providers services for using the platform.

      4. 30. Tax Obligations: As an independent contractor, you are solely responsible for reporting and paying any applicable taxes, including but not limited to income taxes, self-employment taxes, and any other taxes required by law. Eco maid services does not withhold taxes from your earnings.

      5. 31. Liability and Insurance: You agree to maintain appropriate insurance coverage, including liability insurance, to cover any damages or losses that may occur while performing cleaning services for Clients. Eco Maid services is not liable for any damages or losses resulting from your actions or omissions.

      6. 32. Client-Cleaner Relationships: Eco Maid services serves as a platform to connect Cleaners with Clients but does not control the interactions between parties. You are solely responsible for managing your relationships with Clients, including scheduling appointments, communicating expectations, and resolving disputes.

      7. 33. Feedback and Ratings: Clients may provide feedback and ratings based on their experience with your cleaning services. You acknowledge that feedback and ratings may affect your reputation on the platform and agree to maintain a high standard of service to uphold your reputation as a Cleaner.

      9. 34. Termination of Agreement: You may terminate this agreement at any time by ceasing to use the platform. Eco Maid services reserves the right to terminate or suspend your access to the platform at its discretion, with or without cause, and without prior notice.

        1. 35. Client Non-Solicitation: You acknowledge and agree that all Clients acquired through Eco Maid services are the exclusive property of the platform. As such, you shall not directly or indirectly solicit or attempt to solicit business from any Clients for services that compete with those offered on the platform. Soliciting our clients outside our platform will result in a £1000 fine.

        2. 36. Use of Platform: You agree to exclusively use Eco maid services as the platform through which you offer your cleaning services to Clients. This includes but is not limited to scheduling appointments, communicating with Clients, and receiving payment for services rendered.

        3. 37. Prohibited Activities: Prohibited activities include, but are not limited to:

          • Directly soliciting Clients for cleaning services outside of the platform.
          • Providing contact information or directing Clients to alternative platforms or channels for booking cleaning services.
          • Entering into agreements with Clients that bypass the platform for future bookings or transactions.
        4. 38. Platform Integrity: Eco maid services invests significant resources in acquiring and retaining Clients, maintaining the integrity of the platform, and ensuring a positive experience for all users. Client non-solicitation and platform exclusivity are essential to preserving the integrity and sustainability of the platform.

        5. 39. Consequences of Violation: Violation of this policy may result in immediate suspension or termination of your access to the platform, as well as other legal remedies available to Eco maid services. Additionally, you may be liable for damages resulting from the solicitation of Clients in violation of this policy.


        7. 40. Reporting Violations: Clients who believe they have been solicited by a Cleaner in violation of this policy are encouraged to report such incidents to Eco maid services immediately. Reports will be investigated promptly, and appropriate action will be taken to enforce this policy.

        8. 41. Modification of Policy: Eco maid services reserves the right to modify or update this non-solicitation and platform exclusivity policy at any time. Any changes will be effective immediately upon posting on the platform. It is your responsibility to review this policy periodically for updates.
